#Coaches…Here’s How to Turn “Free” Coaching Sessions Into GREAT Clients!

Here is my 20-point process for Coaches on how to handle those {sometimes pesky} “free” coaching strategy sessions to help you attract your ideal client, and lead to the sale:

  1. Get to know the person you’re talking to
  2. Learn about his or her life, business, relationship, financial health, physical fitness goals {or whatever YOU coach around}
  3. Hear more about what they are currently working on
  4. Learn about what they are hoping to achieve
  5. Discuss what they have already done {that has not worked for them}
  6. Ask them bout how much time they can {and are willing to} invest in shifting and possibly improving their future
  7. Ask for clarity on how much money they can {and are willing to} invest in the possibility
  8. Tell them about how you two can {potentially} work together {via your coaching products and service offerings}
  9. Discuss with them how committed they are to the process and their commitment level to the success of their life, business, relationship, financial health, physical fitness goals {or whatever YOU coach around}
  10. Secure payment or a payment arrangement
  11. Give a start date for when your work together will begin
  12. Stay in-touch via email {and potentially text message}
  13. Offer a custom coaching program that meets the needs of their specific life, business, relationship, financial health, physical fitness goals {or whatever YOU coach around}
  14. Allow a pre-determined amount of time to complete the coaching relationship
  15. Complete a mid-point coaching evaluation, comparing their starting goals with actual goals achieved
  16. Get a client testimonial
  17. Recommend next-steps to help them keep going, stay committed, and continue getting results
  18. Set a follow-up date and time to help keep track with coaching progress
  19. Reach out consistently regarding ongoing programs that allow you to keep working together at higher levels to keep building on their success {and yours}!
  20. Rinse and repeat during your NEXT free coaching session
