The following 3 Books are my TOP 3 MUST READS for Women in Business!…
#1. I have NEVER cried, felt SO INSPIRED, and sad (at the SAME time) while reading a book (and finishing it so quickly)! @TOMS Founder, Blake Mycoskie shares the WONDERFUL story of his company and their success in the book, ‘Start Something That Matters’…and, that’s JUST what I am in the process of doing! Found it at my local used/trade-in book store for only $1.60 after seeing it in a small boutique for close to $30…I’ll take my discounted price ANY DAY, thank you VERY much!! #WhatABargain!
#2. Found a new {and interesting-looking} book on leadership at Goodwill for 50% OFF!! called ‘Remarkable’ by Dr. Randy Ross & David Salyers. It has GREAT quotes in it, which I share in the post, “Quotes I Love“, that motivate and inspire me in business. Quotes to live by like, “Impact starts with you!“…I HOPE it will do the same for you too!
#3. What CAN I say?!…The name says it all!! The original version of this book (thin, grey, hardback, and just over 100 pages) was loaned to me by a dear friend. Someone who believes in my vision to succeed in inspiring and impacting the lives and businesses of women entrepreneurs all over the world! But, my friend also KNEW that it all starts in the mind [mine, and yours!]. We become what we think! So, let this be your THOUGHT guide 🙂 #ENJOY!, and #ThinkGoodThoughts!
I have over a $100+ credit in my local trade-in/ used book store! I get 50% OFF of each of my used book purchases (good deal, huh?!). It’s a woman-owned facility (which pleases me to know!). The owner jokes that I have a vested stock interest in the place! I too believe this is true :). With that said, whenever I need a quick “pick me up”, and a few words of inspiration to keep myself moving forward in business, I head to the “Business” or “Self-Help” section in my local book store (or the book section in my local thrift store) and DIVE IN! Check out these GREAT reads, and let me know what you think…

I also love to read. I have been kind of busy lately so I have only been able to purchase books, but I have not yet taken the time to sit down and enjoy them. I think I am going to spend this weekend with a nice book and some tea. Thanks for the listings.
